Age Concern Grants
Here are the grants programmes we operate that are open to voluntary
organisations:
Bright Ideas
The Bright Ideas grants programme is open to most voluntary
organisations in England who have an income or turnover of less than
£200,000 per annum. Applications from Wales are also currently
welcome.
The scheme offers grants of up to £2,000 towards new or expanding
services or activities which directly benefit older people.
Below is a schedule of the deadlines and the allocation meetings for
the Bright Ideas programme for the coming year:
Applications to be received : Allocation Date by the Grants Unit
- Thursday 10th January 2008 : Thursday 24th January 2008
- Thursday 14th February 2008 : Thursday 28th February 2008
- Thursday 10th April 2008 : Thursday 24th April 2008
- Thursday 15th May 2008 : Thursday 29th May 2008
- Thursday 12th June 2008 : Thursday 26th June 2008
- Thursday 17th July 2008 : Thursday 31st July 2008
Barclays Programme
The Barclays grants programme is open to most voluntary organisations
in England who have an income or turnover of less than £50,000 per
annum.
Applications from Wales are also currently welcome. The scheme offers
Grants of up to £150 towards new or expanding services or activities
which directly benefit older people.
Below is a schedule of the deadlines and the allocation meetings for
the Barclays programme for the coming year:
Applications to be received : Allocation date by the Grants Unit
- Thursday 10th January 2008 : Thursday 24th January 2008
- Thursday 14th February 2008 : Thursday 28th February 2008
- Thursday 10th April 2008 : Thursday 24th April 2008
- Thursday 15th May 2008 : Thursday 29th May 2008
- Thursday 12th June 2008 : Thursday 26th June 2008
