Free Black and Minority Ethnic Trustee Development Programme

Practical facilitated workshops with a support and mentoring package
providing you with the skills to be an effective trustee

For trustees, and those considering becoming a trustee, of BME
community organisations:

This programme looks at the issues that trustees from BME community
groups face and offers very practical ways of approaching and dealing
with them.

A programme of four flexible, three hour 'facilitated' workshops, to
develop your capacity as a trustee of a BME voluntary and community
group.

The workshops are very practical and based on real life scenarios

You will have a chance to network and share experiences with other
trustees who are dealing with similar dilemmas and decisions to you

Further support and mentoring will also be available as part of the
programme. We encourage you to take part in the full programme. These
three-hour workshops (see

once a week for four weeks. However there is flexibility within the
programme.
