Young Women and Sexual Violence Seminar
Monday 10th December 2007, 9.30am - 2.00pm
NCVO, Regent's Wharf, London

A half-day seminar focusing on young women and sexual violence. The
seminar will include expert speakers, panel discussion and workshops
covering issues such as sexual bullying in schools; sexual violence
and gangs; young women and sexual exploitation; and effective
cross-agency working.

Featuring speakers from the following organisations:
* The Havens
* Brook
* South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre
* the nia project

Who should attend?:
* Professionals working with violence against women and children
* Domestic/Sexual Violence Co-ordinators
* Academics and university-based researchers
* Social Workers
* Voluntary and statutory sector organisations working with young
women
* Independent Sexual Violence Advocates
* Independent Domestic Violence Advocates
* Organisations working with young women in the criminal justice
system
* Youth workers

Workshops will include:
* Sexual Bullying in Schools: Good Practice in Prevention Work
* Sexual Violence and Gangs
* Young Women and Sexual Exploitation
* Effective Cross-Agency Working

Delegate Free:
* Full Rate - Statutory Agencies, Universities, Schools: £70.00 per
delegate
* Reduced Rate - Voluntary Agencies: £45.00 per delegate
* Individual Rate (waged): £40.00 per delegate
* Individual Rate - 16-21 Year Old: FREE
Fees include access to the event, available conference papers, buffet
lunch and refreshments, for registered delegates only. Fees do not
include travel costs or accommodation. Shared places are not
permitted.
