Hello

As someone who works with black and minority ethnic communities we
thought
you might like to know about our groundbreaking series of national
seminars
on domestic violence and minority cultures. We have attracted the
biggest
names in BME and domestic violence writing, research and practice.

Come and hear Commander Steve Allen, head of the Metropolitan Police
Service
Violent Crime Directorate talk about domestic violence within BME
communities and political correctness. We'll be looking at advocacy
and
support for survivors of domestic violence from black and other
minority
ethnic communities. We'll also be addressing honour crimes, forced
marriages
and work with male perpetrators.

Each seminar is repeated in Leeds, Derby and London so that everybody
has a
chance to attend a venue closer to their workplace.

So that people can feel a part of these seminars and join in the
debate - we
are deliberately keeping numbers low. So you will have to book quickly
to be
assured of your place!

We look forward to hearing from you

Thanks for your time

Graham
