Media Forum

JUST MEDIA is the newly established media forum for the women's
voluntary sector.

It was set up because of concerns over the portrayal of women in the
media and popular culture and the misrepresentation of the issues that
the sector deals with.

It seeks to use the media in a positive way to raise awareness around
the issues and to provide a collective voice in calling for a more
socially responsible media

Membership is open to women's organisations, media educationalists,
academics and other stakeholders who share these concerns.

Partners include women's group, The White Ribbon Campaign, and media
educationalists, Scarey Little Girl Productions.
