Public Law Training - Challenging Unjust Public Body Funding and
Consultation Decisions
IVAC in partnership with The Public Law Project and NAVCA have
organised a workshop on empowering the voluntary sector to challenge
unjust public body funding and consultation decisions.
The workshop will take place on Thursday 25 September, 10am to 4pm at
the Crescent Suite, Ronalds Road, Highbury.
This session is designed to equip participants with the skills to
negotiate effective with public bodies on issues such as challenging
funding cuts, failure to consult on policy changes, and local
authority decisions concerning the provision of services.
Workshop is open to all voluntary, community and faith sector
organisations funded by, or seeking funding from public bodies. The
workshops aim to help you to
* Develop an understanding of the principles of public law
* Identify when a public body has not acted lawfully
* Understand the solutions available to you.
The cost of the workshop is £25 and you must book in advance. Please
