Announcement - Spring and Summer Courses
We have a number of spring and summer courses running at the British
Computer Society (BCS) offices conveniently located off the Strand in
central London. The first of these 'A practical introduction to
website accessibility' is next week - Wednesday 20th February and
there
is still time to book your place. Topics covered in this course
include:
* a definition of accessibility and why it is an important issue
- includes key statistics and an overview of accessibility guidelines
* The law - examines key legislation including the Disability
Discrimination Act (DDA)
* The impact of accessibility - uses practical demonstrations and
videos to show who is affected by accessibility issues and describes
simple steps you can take to help
You will also receive a course pack containing materials covered
during
