Lewisham's 12th Childcare Fair

Be ready for a great day, whether you want a childcare career or, as a
parent of young children, you want help back into work - any work - or
training. The Civic Suite doors open at 10.00am, Wednesday, 6th
August, and at 10.30am Bridget Prentice MP officially launches
Lewisham's 12th Childcare Jobs & Training Fair. From that point, the
focus is on YOU and how we can help YOU.

What's on offer:
* Childcare fair with exhibitors including nurseries, specialist
training organisations, the Pre-school Learning Alliance and Lewisham'
s Children's Centres, Childcare & Play - plus the Fostering Services
* Launch of job clubs for parents with children under five, with back
to work benefit advisers and access to coaching, training advice and
details of funding for training
* Job club workshops on topics including confidence building, the
benefits of volunteering, interview techniques & CV writing, budgeting
and managing debts.
* Free creche for attendees on Job club workshops
* Raffle: a Freeplay DAB radio and torch
