VCS work-life survey launched online - closes 25th April 2008

Third Sector's second annual survey into the quality of working life
in the voluntary sector will look into the issues of bullying, trustee
effectiveness and environmental impact for the first time.

Charity Pulse, conducted by charity consultancy Birdsong, asks sector
employees for their views on things that affect their working lives.
This includes work-life balance, how rewarding it is to work for a
charity, employers' communication skills and people management.

The survey, which elicited 700 responses from workers in 115 charities
last year, is open until 25 April to anyone working for a charity.
Results are confidential.
