Subject: London Transport Survey
Questionnaire on London’s Transport Needs
Mayor Boris Johnson will soon be setting out his proposals for changes
to London’s transport strategy. London Civic Forum is asking members
for their views so that we can identify issues of concern and begin to
think about how these should be addressed.
The survey can be accessed online by following the link below. Your
responses to these questions will help inform us of how well London’s
transport strategy is delivering for Londoners, and how Londoners feel
about transportation issues in the capital.

We plan to present the findings from the survey to members for further
discussion at an event later in the year. Officers from Transport for
London, the body that is responsible for implementing London’s
Transport strategy on behalf of the Mayor, will join us to help inform
our understanding of the issues. If you have marked the morning of the
3rd November in your diary for this event, please note it has been
postponed and look out for the new date in the November e-bulletin.
The Mayor’s draft strategy will be made available for public
consultation at a later date and you will have the opportunity to feed
in your views directly if you wish. Please think of this survey as the
beginning rather than the end of sharing your views on this important
issue.
The deadline for completing the survey is Friday, 14th November 2008.
If you require a paper copy of the survey, please contact Chloe
(chloe at londoncivicforum.org.uk) or call 020 8709 9770. Please note
that the survey is also available in larger print.
