Faith's Forum for London Training
Faith's Forum for London is moving successfully through the second
year of implementing its blueprint for development. When it is
formalised by end of March 2009 - it will have the involvement of
all nine major faiths: Bahai, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam,
Jainism, Judaism, Sikhism and Zoroastrianism.
To date, ten half day sessions on Critical Incident handling for Faith
organisations have taken place and more are planned in November and
December. Sessions can be held onsite or at London Civic Forum. Groups

the Civic Forum.

How Faiths Work in London Tuesday 9th December
Faiths Forum for London is planning a How London Works event: "How
Faiths Work in London".
This is an event to raise awareness and aid faith literacy among
secular and public bodies and will provide an opportunity for secular
and public sector bodies to be introduced to the working of the faith
sector in London.
The event will also host the London launch of "Face to Face and Side
by Side", the government's faith strategy.
How Faiths Work in London is scheduled for 9th December at Indian
YMCA, Fitzroy Square, from 10am 4pm.
