Gender Equality in the Public Sector Conference

Tuesday 30th September 2008
Copthorne Tara Hotel, Scarsdale Place, Kensington, London. W8 5SR

With the implementation of a new Equalities PSA, the establishment of
the Commission for Equality and Human Rights and a forthcoming Single
Equality Duty, the issue of gender equality in the workplace is
rapidly rising up the national agenda. All public sector bodies now
have a duty to ensure gender equality. Employers can no longer 'tick
the box', but must implement real, effective measures throughout their
organisation.

With the Gender Equality Duty into its second year, Capita's National
Gender Equality in the Public Sector conference will take stock of
where we are now and what barriers still need to be overcome.

Attend this one day conference to find out what you need to be doing
to meet the challenges of gender equality. Informative plenary
sessions will give you updates on current and future policy followed
by in-depth case studies giving you practical guidance and insight
into 'what works' at the grassroots.

This must-attend event gathers together the key stakeholders to
provide you with the know-how to put gender equality at the core of
