Working with Vulnerable and Sexually Exploited Young Women

A seminar for youth workers who identify as women

Saturday 4th October 2008

10.30am to 2.30pm

at Manchester Art Gallery

for directions see
http://www.manchestergalleries.org/planning-your-visit/

The seminar will focus on examples from practice drawing directly on
young women’s experience. Workshops will enable you to explore how our
values underpin our work, and discuss issues arising and relevance to
your practice with experienced colleagues.

The seminar is particularly suited to practitioners, but may also be
of interest to managers who may be developing work within their
services or with partner agencies.

The seminar is being run in partnership by Brathay and North West
Girls’ Work Network.

The Girls’ Work Network promotes youth work with girls and young women
from a feminist perspective.

Brathay provides residential and community based programmes to enable
children and young people to realise their potential.
