Sparks: The Clore Jewish Development Fund

Sparks is a new national initiative to support Jewish communities
outside of London.

The Foundation is the founder of the Jewish Community Centre for
London, a cross-communal centre inspired by similar centres across the
US and Europe. Sparks celebrates the capital's first JCC and mirrors
its ambitions and ethos. They're looking for innovative Jewish
culture, education and community development projects across the UK
(excluding London, which already benefits from the JCC for London).

If you have a great idea for a project that will enhance the Jewish
life of your local community, we could be backing it with up to
£20,000. Sparks: The Clore Jewish Development Fund will be worth a
total of £100,000 annually from 2007 and there will be one round of
funding each year.

The deadline for the next round of funding is 30 April 2009.

They would like you to come to them with clearly thought-through ideas
for projects. If you are looking for inspiration, you can look on
their website for this season's initiatives run by the JCC for London.
You may already be inspired with a new idea, want to start up
something new in your community or simply want to create the kind of
events you'd like to attend in your home town.

Please make sure you read all the information and follow the
guidelines carefully. They're a small office, and try to keep things
simple: they have made the application process as straightforward as
they can and all the information you need should be on their website.
