Launch of 'Recommendations on DV Trainings from a BME Perspective'

This half day national Conference aims to present the 'Recommendations
on DV
Trainings' and to initiate a discussion on;
- How do the general public and mainstream service providers perceive
forms of DV experienced by BME women?
- How can we bring a change in these perceptions through the
trainings?
- How best can the statutory authorities deal with BME survivors of DV

This conference also aims to urge the authorities to deal with
specific
forms of DV in a gendered perspective and violence against women
framework
taking into account the diversity of experiences.
