Friends, Families and Travellers is organising the UK's first
conference on Domestic Violence in Gypsy and Traveller Communities on
8th May 2009, in London.

Speakers from Gypsy and Traveller domestic violence projects and
Women's Aid will
share their insights and experiences on a difficult topic for
communities which have traditionally relied on family to solve
problems. FFT will launch a revised guide to 'Supporting Gypsy and
Traveller women and Children living with Domestic Violence' together
with a set of case studies illustrating real experiences.
