SAVE THE DATE for 9 forthcoming regional events!
Safeguarding Survivors and Services Regional Roadshows:
Achieving value for money and quality in service provision within a
co-ordinated community response to domestic and sexual violence
A Women's Aid initiative in partnership with the Home Office, and in
consultation with regional government offices and the Audit
Commission.
Aims
* Explore how local government and statutory agencies can work
together with the voluntary sector to deliver high-quality,
cost-effective services for the wide range of survivors in every
locality;
* Identify ways to take forward and ensure provision of high quality
domestic and sexual violence services in all areas;
* Promote the National Service Standards for Domestic and Sexual
Violence (NSSDSV) and associated Commissioning Guidance;
* Promote the Home Office model for a co-ordinated community response
to domestic and sexual violence;
* Facilitate links between policymakers, commissioners and service
providers.
Audience
* Commissioners and Joint-Commissioners
* Community Safety Officers and Supporting People Lead Officers
* Chairs/Vice-Chairs of Local Strategic Partnerships
* Domestic Violence Co-ordinators and strategic/policy lead officers
on domestic and sexual violence from all statutory/voluntary agencies
* Specialist domestic and sexual violence service providers.
