Subject: FW: Find your Female Funny - June workshops booking now
Dear All,
Come along and enjoy two hours with other women who want to find their
female funny. In these tough days we need our wits about us,
literally! So
let us help you to find your innate feminine ability to use humour -
whether
you want to change the world, change your business or change the beds!
We have two workshops in June at different locations. Using the tools
used
by professionals from the world of comedy we can help whether you want
to
develop your own comedy routine or liven up your presentation skills,
injecting them with warmth and humour. We help build confidence and
professionalism at any level whether you have experience in public
speaking
or none at all. If you are a novice we will help you overcome those
first
few hurdles and, whatever your level, we ensure everyone has some fun
along
the way. It is a friendly and informal environment where women can
enjoy
one another's company as they overcome the fear of standing up in
public and
find ways to deliver a few funny anecdotes and use a microphone.
There is
plenty of one to one attention which is why we limit the numbers.
The dates for the next two workshops are Tuesday 2nd June from 5.00 to
7.00
p.m. at our regular venue: Intermission, St Saviours Church, Walton
Street,
Knightsbridge, London SW7, (behind Harrods) and Friday 26th June from
6.30
to 8.30 p.m. at the Earthlife Centre, Arch 2, Kew Bridge Arches,
Richmond,
Surrey, TW9 3AW (under arches next to Kew Bridge). We still have
places
available for both workshops and we are continuing on the special rate
of
£40 (normally £45) if you book by Monday 1st June. If more than three
of
you book together we will give you 10% discount. Please register your
interest by contacting info at funnywomen.com or call us on 020 8948
4444.
Please contact us if you would like to know a bit more or if you would
like
to organise a group event - we offer a discount for groups booking
together
- or if you are interested in being coached privately. We have run a
number
of very successful workshops for companies and organisations to help
with
team building as well as self-confidence. We can also put together an
entertaining evening for you and a group of friends who fancy at go at
stand
up. Let us know how best we can help you.
For those of you who can't make it to London or Richmond in June, we
are
planning some dates around the UK - please advise us of your preferred
location by email and we will be in contact.
This is what people say about our workshops:
"The tools and insights you used were very inspirational and left
everyone
in the room with a huge smile on their face and a different view on
how they
can use their skills and humour to great effect."
"Despite my initial trepidation I have to say that I really quite
enjoyed
myself. I'm quite clearly no comic and the life of stand up is not
now
filling my dreams but I can quite clearly see that your workshop has
given
my confidence a boost and perhaps I will be a little more able to hold
my
own in a very, very, very male dominated company (I don't think they
realised when they booked me in on the workshop that they would create
such
a monster!). What I need is to be able to attend a workshop about
every
month just to keep topping up my confidence!"
"Just wanted to say thank you for what a boost last Wednesday has
given me.
Don't think my other half quite believed me when I got home and told
him!
Thinking of ways that I can use my renewed liking of public speaking
now
:-)."
We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards from the Funny Women Team.
