Course description

This course is designed to assist local areas in developing their violence
against women and girls strategy (VAWG) which needs to be in place by April
2011. Practical guidance will be given to help participants create a realistic
road map for their locality, building upon existing local domestic violence
strategies and incorporating survivors' views. Participants will be encouraged
to explore diversity issues as a key element of creating an effective approach.
